Unputdownable Romance Reads

Here are some of my recent unputdownable romance reads.

Here are some of my recent unputdownable romance reads (acknowledging that I am behind on my TBR shelf):

  • The books in the Part of Your World Series by Abby Jimenez are funny—like laugh-out-loud funny—but also really heartfelt. Several doctors and nurses connect the series, and the characters are extremely endearing. Each book in the series just got better and better (which is saying a lot).
  • Books 1 and 2 in the Four Horsemen Series by Laura Thalassa are post-apocalyptic enemies-to-lovers romantasy novels that I couldn’t stop reading. Maybe it’s the stakes—trying to convince Horsemen of the Apocalypse that humanity is worth saving? Or maybe it’s the way the end-of-days suffering is drawn out before the payoff spice? Or maybe it’s just that I really love monster book boyfriends? Whatever the case, these just had that “it” factor (the last two are on my TBR shelf).

As a bonus—I also loved this novel:

  • Crux by Gabriel Tallent is a book about friendship and hope—even in the most hopeless of situations. And it’s all the things I love best in a novel: well-developed, relatable characters, who process their “rad” experiences in a way that speaks to things you intrinsically understand about yourself and humanity, but stated so much more eloquently (at least than I’m capable of). It perfectly balances the heavy stuff with humor. My BFF gave it all the stars, and so do I.
